We just left and had such a great time! I was worried after reading so many negative reviews and now I have to ask, have most of you never been to a campground before? We had a very positive experience! They had so many fun activities planned for the kids and mine were never bored. They loved the ceramics, candy bar bingo, cartoons, and the "hey" ride!! The pool was busy, but that was to be expected on a hot weekend. We found it clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were also clean. The showers were less busy at night. Only downside we saw was expensive items at the store, but there are many other shopping options nearby, so that wasn't a problem. The kids are already asking when we will go again!

We stayed here for 5 nights (Saturday - Thursday) & overall our stay was great. When we arrived it was bananas busy & there was some kind of dance party going on. The music was super loud & all the other campers were pretty loud too. The camp spaces are kinda small & it felt like we were all right on top of each other but as people cleared out on Sunday it was more quiet & spacious. When we arrived we didn't have a picnic table so we had to carry one off from an empty spot, which was probably the same reason we didn't have one. As others mentioned, this campground is right by the highway (you couldnt see it from where we were) but sound wasn't a problem for us as we have fans in our camper that drown out any outside noise at night. Pros: Close to everything in the Dells. Beautiful campground. Lots of outdoor things like mini golf, basketball court, sand volleyball, etc. Clean bathrooms & laundry. Everything in campground is close & not too far to walk. There was tons of stuff going on. We did at least 3 'Hey Rides', played at the park, tie dyed shirts, watched the outdoor cartoons & there was more we didn't take advantage of. Some of the areas have great shade from trees. 2 water areas with a good sized kiddie area. Well stocked Ranger Station. Lots of tent & pop up campers. Cons: Inconsistent enforcement of the quiet hours rules. Our first night there was a very large, rowdy group that was partying with lights & loud music well past 11pm. The next night, my husband was telling ghost stories to 3 of our kids about 10:30, (9, 7 & 4) & security told us we needed to keep it down because of 'quiet hours'. If your car needs a jump they charge you $20 (we needed one). Considering what you pay to stay here you'd think that service would be a courtesy. The pool is really small for the amount of people the campground can hold. They serve alcohol right at the pool (which isn't necessarily a con but) apparently let you eat peanuts at the bar because there were peanut shells all over the concrete. When you walked around the pool you stepped on wet & soggy peanut shells with bare feet & I can only assume shells were in the pool as well which is pretty gross. My kids swam in the pool but I did not. The outdoor movies were actually pretty cute & my kids enjoyed watching old cartoons but unfortunately, the screen is about 50 ft from the interstate. Unless you sit right behind the speaker you can't hear anything. Overall we enjoyed our time here & if we came back to the Dells we'd stay here again. For a campground there is lots to do to keep all the kids entertained & lots of fun memories.

I have young children and this place kept them busy. There are things on the hour to do, usually. Some of the events, like ceramic painting, might not be free, but for a few bucks, it's fine. Looking back at the ceramic treasures, it's been worth it. You should know that some of the sites are a tight squeeze. If you're new to camping, you need to ask for a spacious site in the back, away from the pool. If you try to shoot close for the pool, you have to unhitch blocking traffic. For newbie campers, that's super stressful. You should also know that the sites up by the pool are going to be noisy from the interstate. It won't feel like camping, but some people really don't care. If you go as a group and like being noisy late a night, then i'd stay up there because that extra noise, won't bother you a bit. We haven't been there in over a year. We are ready to go back, but we'll take a site way in the back since we are more quiet.

Awful Customer Service. Booked a spot, changed mind 24 hours later. Misunderstood cancellation policy---as they do not offer money back if ample notice, only certificates to be used at their facility. That's a problem. While I was trying to explain myself to lady in charge, I found her to be rude. Why would I want to use a gift certificate to a place with bad service?!? I admit I originally booked in haste, do your research, read other reviews---there's plenty of other Jellystones out there with better service.

This place is an absolute joke. We spent a ton of money on the "Boo Boo Chalet" and it was such a waste of money. The campsites are literally on top of one another...there are actually camp sites about 50 feet (maybe more maybe less) from a busy highway (which if you have children it will keep you on edge and unable to relax due to the fear of them running into a busy road with drivers unaware of children camping and playing) and with tents just stacked next to each other there is absolutely no sense of privacy. This is not camping...you could pop a tent in your own backyard and feel better about your camping experience. The cost of extra activities is also ridiculous and very high. The pool is completely unsafe (too many people for such a small pool) and absolutely dirty. We swam for a bit our first day, but the pool is not meant for the amount of people they had camping. My husband and I and the other family we were with actually told our kids they couldn't swim any longer on the 2nd day due the the over crowding...my kids are good swimmers, and yet were struggling to find space and not get taken under by the adults/teens. In addition to the overcrowding/lack of cleanliness, the pool is literally next to the highway...when we were there we were actually yelling at each other to be heard...the noise coming from the highway is overwhelming. I will never again camp here...absolutely never. Our families were so looking forward to this getaway and we all walked away so disappointed!

I'm not picky and I wouldn't stay here again. Nice facilities, playground, laundry, pool, game room, store. Friendly staff in the game room/store and at check in. We had one issue w/ sharing the electric hook up and the maintenance man had a really bad attitude when we approached him. Luckily a very nice woman came over on a golf cart and handled it super nicely. I have a few reasons I wouldn't stay again. First, the sites around the playground are way too tight and unlevel. Our rv barely fit, we scraped tree branches and it was about 18in lower toward the road. Second, the shower situation. 3 stalls, felt dirty, and most importantly for me they didn't get beyond lukewarm to cold. Also the heads sprayed badly and you almost had to keep one hand on the button to keep the water on. Third, the cool water playground closes way too early- 6 I believe. We didn't get to use it because we weren't back from our daily adventures in time. Fourth, they sell and allow fireworks. My kids are old enough, 5 and 8, that they weren't bothered however my dog was scared. Imagine parents w/ sleeping babies. Last, by Friday night the place really filled up and it felt overcrowded. Tents on top of tents. Not a bad place, but too many issues in a town filled w/ other options.

We have been here a few times before. We had such a great time the first time that we came back with another family the 2nd year. And now the 3rd year we brought that family and another one. We liked it because it is very kid friendly. We wanted to focus the camping trip on the kids. We were satisfied with the registration until we encountered a situation with the park owner. We had 3 cars for our 2 sites and one of the cars was sent through the front without the orange parking permit and wristbands for the family of four. He never gave us a long enough chance to explain the situation. He kept saying we did not pay if we didn't get the orange passes or wristbands. We have been there before so we did know the routine. He said it was a security issue if we didn't have it. But then it was the person at the front that let him through and didn't give him any passes or wristbands. We paid for the 3 cars, 2 sites, 3 tents, and 6 adults. It was very bothersome because another one of the cars just arrived and didn't even get out of the car yet to put on the wristbands and he was accusing us of not paying. After awhile of bickering back and forth, he called down to front and the manager there said she was helping us already. If he had given me a minute I would've of explained our situation. We weren't sure if we wanted the sites we had and was thinking about moving to a different one. He should of gave us the time of day to explain. Or he should of doubled check our registration before accusing us of not paying. We just arrived and didn't even get the chance to put on our wristbands. That was very rude and the way he spoke to us was very unprofessional. The manager at the front was so much more helpful and friendlier than the park owner. We are there to have a good time with family and friends... but this encounter kind of ruined the mood. Luckily, after that he left us alone. We would not come in without paying the proper fees. We're not sure if we will continue our camping traditions at this location anymore...

Once opon a time Yogi bear Campgrounds was the place to be. The owners were great and friendly. My family and I have been coming here for the past 10 years. Every year was kicked off without a hitch. Swimming, bonfires, boating, and bonding. Sadly I think that this year was the last year we will be there. This Labor day Camping weekend looked promising. Except the new owner, Brent Gasser, decided to change up everything. He would publicly yell at his staff, terrorize the campers, and turn that place into an extreme dump. He rides around in his golf cart walking through campsites were people are suppose to be staying and demands respect. He rudely belittled my family by saying that we had unpaid guests (when in all actuality we paid). The staff or lack there of, was rude and the washrooms are disgusting. The grounds are mostly hills so your tent is on an angle. Its right by the highway so you have no peace and quiet. If you are thinking of taking a mini-vaca to the Dells, go to the Wilderness or some other campground. The prices at Yogi bear have since been jacked up (probably because little boy Brent wants to make a fortune from his new dump). So it isn't even worth it to camp there. I strongly suggest you stay away from there.

We also have been going to Yogi for many years. We come the same weekend every year & every year it gets worse. This year there was one hay ride, down from 3. Everything closed early. Pool, game-room, store. No midnight madness sale. And yes it is right next to the highway. But we still enjoy ourselves. The old lady in the store could be nicer!

Yuck. We went here and it was loud (interstate traffic), dirty, expensive, and there wasn't much to do - either in terms of activities or nature. Our 2 year old didn't like it either.

My family and I stayed here in early August. I was happy with the spot I chose I01. My only complaint was Ishnala road was behind us. I could hear cars, but the trees helped muffle the noise. Everyone in my family enjoyed the planned activities and family atmosphere that was also adult friendly. The bathrooms were clean as far as camping standards, and the staff was friendly. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of photo opportunities. Our stay here will be a memory for myself, husband and children for years to come. We will try to return every Summer!

We are first-time campers and had a great experience! Our kids (5,8,11) loved the water park and "hey-rides" and really got a kick out of Yogi walking through the campground. Campground was pretty and very clean and the staff was friendly enough. Didn't notice the Interstate noise much and we slept with the windows open. Parking for our RV was a little tight but no big deal. The only negative: I bought a bad batch of firewood at the camp store and we spent a couple of nights trying to roast marshmallows over smoldering wood. A great place if you have younger kids.

Hi, I was a guest at the campsite this past Saturday-Wednesday and I would just like to comment on the exceptional staff members working throughout the resort. Everyone made our stay so wonderful and every single staff member was so nice! I have never been treated so kindly by employees before and I think they all deserve to be recognized for their amazing hospitality, specifically Kivanc, Gamze, Lorans, Aysel, Alperen and Samet. Those 6 treated us with such great kindness and I just want to thank who's ever in charge for hiring such a wonderful staff!

My biggest complaint is one that can't be helped by the staff - the noise. This campground is right off the expressway and the traffic is LOUD (and constant) !!! We were not hassled by the staff whatsoever. The kids loved the pools, mini golf and hayrides. If you have small kids I strongly suggest you pay the extra money for the family-themed sites by the park. It was very nice to sit at your site while still being able to see the kids play. Overall we had a great time.
